Rollers and hinges. Every panel joint has hinges and every panel has rollers, so there are a lot of small parts each doing a share of the work. Worn rollers are usually the noise people notice before anything actually fails.
After that, cables and springs — same as any counterbalanced door — and then the bottom bracket, which is under the most load and the most exposed to salt.
